Demolition

As a fully certified demolition contractor, Smith Demolition provides a complete demolition service to suit your needs. Our expert team assesses the safest and most economical way to achieve your goals with complete project planning, contract surveys and professional contract management and engineers. While based in Limerick we work with local authorities, government departments, multi-nationals contractors and private clients nationwide and abroad.

Asbestos

Smith Demolition has a wealth of knowledge in the removal and disposal of Asbestos materials. All our employees are medically tested and trained to ensure work is carried out to the highest Health and Safety Authority and legislative standards. From initial air clearance testing to waste permits for hazardous materials, we follow rigorous practice when identifying, removing and disposing of asbestos from your site. We have completed work throughout Ireland.

Segregation

On-site segregation is provided by Smith Demolition to reduce the amount of materials going to landfill, in line with Government strategy. Concrete, blocks and brick are crushed where possible on site and reused to construct haul roads, bases for new access roadways, general fill material etc. All other recycled/segregated materials are taken to recycling facilities off site using our own haulage plant and Waste Collection Permits.

Civil Engineering

Based in Limerick, Smith Demolition has a proven record in civil engineering works and a wide range of plant and equipment to undertake civil works of all types, regardless of the level of complexity. We can provide a highly experienced staff and workforce to carry out a wide variety of civil works. Smith Demolition has the experience and resources to carry out and achieve client’s requirement in regard to their civil works requirements, whether a client’s requirements range from the installation of all kinds of underground services and utilities, rock breaking, bulk excavation, substructure preparatory and installation works to road construction and landscaping contract work
